Dec. 2, 2015 Women's soccer's freshman keeper Paige Simoneau and men's basketball senior forward Frank Rogers are the November Spartan Foundation Student-Athletes of the Month, presented by ScholarShare.Simoneau was the unlikely hero that helped San José State claim the Mountain West title and clinch a spot in the NCAA Tournament. The Salinas, Calif., native tied the school record with 14 made field goals on the way to a 32-point performance in a win over Alaska-Anchorage. He was selected to the Great Alaska Shootout All-Tournament Team after he averaged 22.0 points and 11.3 rebounds over three games. Rogers leads the Mountain West in defensive rebounding at 6.7 per game.
