2017: In goal for 17 matches and made 16 starts … Finished with an 11-3-2 record and made 53 saves … Ended the year with six solo shutouts, a 1.05 goals against average and a 74.6 save percentage … Two-time Mountain West Defensive Player of the Week … Stopped a penalty kick on the road at San Diego State to help preserve a tie and an unbeaten weekend in Mountain West play.
2016: Started the team’s first nine matches before suffering a season-ending injury in the Sept. 25 match at Nevada … Allowed just five goals in 843:47 across nine matches and had four shutouts … Allowed just one goal throughout the first four matches of the season and had a shutout percentage which ranked top-15 in the country during that span … Compiled a 3-2-3 record.
2015: Inserted into the Mountain West semifinal and championship matches after sitting out during regulation and overtime and stopped a total of four penalty kicks, helping SJSU win the title and advance to the NCAA Tournament for just the second time in program history … Stopped three PK’s in the semifinal match against New Mexico, and another in the title match against the host and #1-ranked San Diego State … Despite logging only three minutes of playing time throughout the two matches, Simoneau was named the championship’s Most Valuable Player … Played in five regular season matches, making three starts.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2014 CIF-Southern Section Division 2 and CIF-SoCal region champion goalkeeper as a senior at Santiago High School in Corona, Calif. … HSGameTime named her Girls Soccer Player of the Year after she led Santiago to four penalty-kick victories on the way to the championships … Team captain for two seasons on teams ranked inside MaxPreps’ top-100 high school programs in the country … Played club soccer for Legends FC in Chino, Calif.
