San Jose, Calif. - Coming off a 72-49 win at Air Force on Saturday night, the San Jose State women's basketball team continues its road swing and looks to put together back-to-back wins away from home when they face the Fresno State Bulldogs on Wednesday night in the Save Mart Center.

FOUR-GAME DROUGHT HALTED
After enduring a four-game skid in which it lost by an average of six points, including losses to the top-three teams in the Mountain West, Colorado State, Fresno State and Boise State by a combined 10 points, San Jose State righted the ship with a trip to Colorado Springs, Colo. The Spartans completed a season-sweep of Air Force with a 72-49 dismantling of the Falcons and got the team's conference record back to .500 at 5-5.
AT AIR FORCE SPARTANS GET THIRD MW ROAD WIN OF 2015-16
With San Jose State's 72-49 victory at Air Force (1/30), the team has won three conference road games in a single season, for the first time since 2005-06. After SJSU plays at Fresno State, it still has road contests at Nevada, San Diego State and Boise State.
LADD KEEPS TRENDING UP...AS A STARTER
Myzhanique Ladd (So., G, Seattle, Wash.) continues to show the skills which got her named Ms. Basketball in the state of Washington in 2014. At Air Force (1/30) she recorded her first career double double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. A career 5.0 ppg scorer, in the last 14 games Ladd has reached double figures in the scoring column eight times and has averaged 10.4 ppg while grabbing 4.6 rebounds. Since being inserted in the starting lineup13 games ago, she has shot 58% from the floor, 50% from three-point range and 70% from the line.
BYRD INCHES CLOSER TO 1,000-CAREER POINTS
Riana Byrd (Sr., C, Richmond, Calif.) has scored 987 career-points entering the Spartans game at Fresno State. Averaging 8.5 points per game this season, she could crack the 1,000-point plateau in the team's game against UNLV (2/10). When she scores her 1,000th point, Byrd will be the 14th player in Spartans' history to reach the milestone.
RAMOS VERGING ON 1,000-CAREER POINTS
It has taken Dezz Ramos (Jr., PG, West Valley, Utah) just 19 games to eclipse her previous single-season scoring high of 360 points, which she established in the 2013-14 season at Weber State. Ramos enters the Spartans game at Fresno State with 387 points this season and 991 for her career.
Honored as the Mountain West Newcomer of the Year prior to the start of the season, Ramos leads the team and is second in the Mountain West in scoring at 19.4 point per game. In 20 games Ramos has reached double figures 19 times, and in 10 games has scored at least 20 points.
BYRD CLOSING IN ON 1,000-CAREER REBOUNDS
Riana Byrd (Sr., C, Richmond, Calif.) has grabbed 970 career-rebounds entering the Spartans game at Fresno State. Averaging 9.4 points per game in her first 10 Mountain West Conference contest, she could crack the 1,000-point plateau in the team's game at Nevada (2/17). When she pulls down her 1,000th rebound, Byrd will be just the second player in Spartans' history to reach the milestone.
SENIOR LEAD...IT'S WHAT THEY DO
Nyre Harris (Sr., G, Stockton, Calif.) is a senior, a team captain and is leading by example. Harris tops the team with 48 steals (2.3/g). In addition, she second in minutes (29.1/g), assists (58) and defensive rebounds (69), third in total rebounds (5.3/g) and offensive rebounds (42). Harris has started every game and is second leading scorer on the team at 9.4 point per game. In the opener, against Southern Oregon (11/13), Harris picked up the first double double of her college career scoring 11 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. At Pacific (12/12) she did it again with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
A 5-8 shooting guard, she is second in the conference in steals, is the 13th leading offensive rebounder and overall its 19th most productive rebounder.
1,000/1,000 CLUB...MAKE ROOM
When San José State Sports Hall of Famer Elinor Banks established the 1,000-point/1,000-rebound club in 1981, it was obviously extremely exclusive. How exclusive? In the 34 years since, Banks remains its only member, however, she will need to make room very soon. Riana Byrd (Sr., C, Richmond, Calif.) is on the precipice of joining Banks. Byrd is 30 rebounds and 13 points away from becoming the second player in SJSU history to reach the milestone.
