In less than a year, Allison Lang went from being the ace of the Spartans softball pitching staff, to record-holding javelin thrower for the women's track and field team. Here's the story of how this former All-Mountain West pitcher is still throwing for San José State.Lang and the Spartans women's track and field team compete this Sunday, May 1, in the Payton Jordan Invitational, hosted by Stanford. It will be the team's final tuneup before heading to the Mountain West Championship, May 11-14.
