Women's Golf At The Gold Rush Tournament To Start The Week

The San José State women's golf team continues the spring season on Monday and Tuesday, February 27 and 28, at The Gold Rush presented by Tantalum at the Old Ranch Country Club in Seal Beach Calif.

The 14-team tournament, hosted by Long Beach State, features, Boise State, Brigham Young, Colorado State, Fresno State, Gonzaga, Idaho, Long Beach State, Montana, Nevada, Ole Miss, Santa Clara, UC Irvine, UC Riverside and the Spartans.

The teams will play 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday on the par-72, 6,115-yard course.

San Jose State is coming off a fourth-place finish at the Peg Barnard Invitational, February 11 and 12. My Leander was the team's top finisher at two-over 144, to tie for fifth place.
