Hornet Invitational Schedule
The San José State women's track & field team begins the outdoor season this Thursday through Saturday with a pair of athletes in the heptathlon in Las Vegas and the rest of the team at the Hornet Invitational in Sacramento, Calif.Jade Childs and Kolbi Sims begin day one of the heptathlon at the Sheila Tarr-Smith Multis hosted by UNLV on Thursday. The heptathlon wraps up on Friday, when the rest of the Spartans begin action at the Hornet Invitational."It should be a great opener for Jade and Kolbi and I'm looking forward to seeing where we are at with the multis," said Director of Track & Field Jeff Petersmeyer. "Then the rest of the team opens at Sacramento State where we had some great performances last year.
