Flagstaff, Ariz.----- San Jose State University divers Cari Reiswig and Kylie Fonseca finished 21st and 41st, respectively, out of 54 divers in the 3-meter dive at the NCAA Zone E Championships hosted by Northern Arizona University.
Reiswig posted a score of 271.90 while Fonseca had a 239.85 total.
The top 18 divers in the preliminary round advanced to the final round of six dives. A 278.40 score was good for 18th place.
Kassidy Cook of Stanford finished first in the preliminary round with a 362.60 total.
Reiswig and Fonseca will compete again at the zone championships, Tuesday, March 7, in the 1-meter dive. Last year, Reiswig advanced to the final round and finished 16th in the 1-meter dive.
