Stockton, Calif.--- Kevin Velo tied for fourth at the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational after shooting four-under par 68 in the final round of the tournament. Velo carded six birdies, and 11 pars in round three. He had a total score of nine-under par 207 in the tournament. This season, the junior is averaging a team best 69.91 strokes per round.
The San José State University men's golf team finished the tournament at one-under par 863 in 10th place. The team had their best score in the final round of the tournament shooting two-under par 286 in round three.
Scott Munger tied for 23rd after shooting two-under par 70 in the final round. Munger shot two rounds under par finishing with a total score of two-under par 214.
Sean Yu tied for 51st at four-over par 220. In round three he shot one-over par 73.
Ben Campbell tied for 86th at 226. Bryce Wortman finished 104th at 232.
Santa Clara won the tournament by four strokes over BYU. The Broncos finished with a total score of 30-under par 834.
BYU's, Patrick Fishburn, won the tournament shooting 13-under par 203. Velo finished four strokes behind Fishburn at nine-under.
