Flagstaff, Ariz.----- San Jose State University wrapped up the diving portion of its women's swimming and diving season with senior Cari Reiswig finishing 23rd and sophomore Natasha Sondeno placing 36th in platform diving at the NCAA Zone E Championships on the Northern Arizona University campus.

Reiswig, the Spartans' school record holder in all three diving events, had a 195.45 score for five dives in the platform qualifying round. The top 18 divers advanced to a championship round of five more dives. Eighteenth place finisher Ashley McCool of Arizona State scored 208.05.

For Reiswig, it was her second NCAA Zone Championships in the platform event and third annual appearance in NCAA Zone Championships competition. Reiswig's best finish this year was qualifying for finals in the 1-meter springboard and placing 17th.

Sondeno was 36th in a 38-woman field with a score of 167.70. The sophomore from Turlock finished competing in her first NCAA Zone Championships.

The Spartans had a team-high three zone championships qualifiers. Senior Kylie Fonseca from Gilbert, Ariz., was 33rd in 3-meter diving and 44th in the 1-meter event.
