The Spartans achieved 10 wins last weekend with wins over Pacific and Sacramento State, marking the first time the beach program has recorded double-digit wins since the inaugural season (2014).
On Friday, four of the five Spartan pairs were swept by the Mustangs. Ryann Thomison and Summer Avery took their match to three sets, winning the second set 21-19 before falling in the third set 15-8.
For the season, Nandyala Gama and Lyndi Scholl finished with a 12-10 record, while Julia Golbeck and Ciara Reistad were 8-13. Individually, Jamie Hirai also recorded double-digit wins as she had a 10-11 record.
The Spartans will say goodbye to these seniors- Avery, Gama, Hirai, Breann Robinson. Scholl and Hayley Sturgeon.
