This past season, Campolindo advanced to the championship match of the North Coast Section, falling to top-seed Bishop O'Dowd 3-1.

Blakey currently plays for the Xcleration Volleyball Club.

"I loved the atmosphere at San José State. Whenever I walked on campus and was surrounded by my future teammates, there was an immediate sense of community and family. That is super important for me. I cannot wait to play under Jolene and Aaron and represent San José State!"

Smevog graduates from Santiago High School this spring. She was a second team All-CIF State selection, a second team MaxPreps California All-State Volleyball honoree and a first team All-CIF Southern Section Division 2 selection. She was the Co-Most Valuable Player of the Big VIII League and first team all-conference selection her senior year. Her team won the 2017 Big VIII League championship with a 10-0 record. Smevog set the Inland Area single-season digs record with 667 digs in 2017, good for 6.4 digs per set. She ended her career as the school's career digs leader with 1,624, the second-most in the area.

Smevog currently plays for the Mavericks Volleyball Club.

"I chose San José State because it had the opportunities that I have dreamed of. Being able to continue my beach volleyball and indoor volleyball career is the direction that I wanted by athletic career to go. I am lucky to have the chance to do it at San José State. Also, being able to attend a school with a great community of academics in the Silicon Valley is very scientists dream. The coaching staf and team at SJSU made this decision even easier with their "Team First" attitudes and family environment. Go Spartans!"
