Stockton, Calif.----- Brenna Bushey finished second in the 100 fly and a 200 free relay team of Madelyn Sailors, Gabby Heng, Taylor Lehr and Antoinette Loya did the same for San Jose State University at the University of the Pacific Invitational women's swimming and diving meet.
Bushey touched the pad in 56.42. She was the first of five Spartans to finish in the top-10 in the event. Violani Auva'a in 57.94 and Gabby Heng in 58.28, were fourth and fifth, respectively.
Only competing in the second of the two-day meet, San Jose State finished fifth in the team standings with 345 points. Nevada was first with 845.5 points.
The Spartans return to the pool, Friday October 19, at the CSUB Sprint Invitational in Bakersfield.
