Stanford, Calif.----- The San Jose State University women's tennis doubles pair of Miyo Kobayashi and Savannah Sendar pulled out an 8-7 (5) win over University of Washington's Natsuho Arakawa and Sedona Gallagher to advance to the round of 16 at the ITA Regional Championships hosted by Stanford University.
In consolation singles action, Sendar, Kobayashi, Kristina Baran and Laura Malsert were winners. Malsert needed a 10-7 tiebreaker for her win after splitting sets with Eszther Zador of Portland State.
