SAN JOSE, Calif. – Sophomore guard Caleb Simmons is one of just five returners for Coach Jean Prioleau's squad for 2018-19, and he will look to have an impact both on and off the court for the Spartans.
Simmons completed his first season with the Spartans last season as the 6-6 guard appeared in 24 games averaging 9.1 minutes, 1.2 points and 1.3 rebounds. Against Antelope Valley, he posted season-highs of six points, eight rebounds and three assists.
With one season of collegiate basketball under his belt, Simmons is now ready to bring his experience and talent to the floor and expecting nothing more than the best from himself and the team. A native of Vallejo, California, he dreamed of one day playing college hoops in the Bay Area and is making that dream a reality as a Spartan.
