"We couldn't be more excited to welcome a very strong recruiting class," said Bowers.  "We have a combination of in-state gymnasts, Shyan and Alexa, with an international gymnast, Jada, and plan on signing one or two more gymnasts before the end of the school year.

"Besides bringing a high level of difficulty, this group brings great work ethic, leadership skills, good people skills and personality!  It is so important to recruit from strong gyms that produce top-level athletes, and we hit the jackpot with these three gymnasts.  They come to college knowing what to expect, how to work, and love to compete.  Our team is fortunate to be adding MORE very high character student-athletes to our program as well.  We want them to enjoy their senior year, keep working hard and progressing, but then can't wait to get them here next summer.

"With this class, we will add the depth we so desperately need to compete at a higher level too.  We are thrilled to be adding Jada, Alexa and Shyan to our Spartan family!"
