San Jose, Calif. – Jamie Craighead, head coach of the San Jose State women's basketball team, announced the signing of Kalina Obrey and Shaila Mays to National Letters of Intent on Wednesday. The pair will compete for the Spartans beginning in the 2019-20 school year.
"Both of the ladies we signed are very tough minded and play a very physical style of basketball. In their games, they bring a bit of everything and really care about basketball. I think we accomplished what we were hoping to with this class. We'll keep a scholarship open for a possible Spring signee, but these are the two we wanted now and I'm very happy we got them."
