San Jose, Calif.—Emma Milne, from Barrie, Ontario, has signed a National Letter-of-Intent to compete for the women's gymnastics team at San José State University beginning with the 2020 season, as announced by head coach Joanne Bowers.

"Emma is a beautiful gymnast that will add quality artistry to our program as her lines are amazing. She is a great competitor in the all-around, with her strengths on bars and beam. She fit in so well on her visit and is very mature for her age. Emma takes her academics as serious as her gymnastics. We are very excited to welcome her to an already strong class that will be coming in next summer. This 2019 class of recruits will give us the depth we need and the higher difficulty on every event," said Bowers.
Milne is the fourth signee for the Spartans for the 2019-20 school year, joining Jada Mazury from Calgary, Alberta; Shyan Phillips from Emeryville, Calif., and Alexa Solomon from Chatsworth, Calif.
