Women's Golf Action Suspended In Second Round Of The Rebel Beach

Las Vegas, Nev.—Starting the spring season in what should be sunny and warm Las Vegas, the San José State women's golf team instead dealt with cold and windy weather Monday during the first two rounds of The Rebel Beach at the Spanish Trail Country Club.

Play in the second round was suspended due to darkness. The teams will continue second-round action Tuesday morning at 8:30 a.m. PT, followed by the final round.

Through most of the second round, the Spartans are in third place, behind defending national champion Arizona and host UNLV. Individually, Abegail Arevalo and Natasha Andrea Oon are currently in the top-10 individually.

The Spartans were tied with UNLV after the first round at two-over 290.
