Baseball (14-9, 8-4)
This Week: The Spartans are scheduled to play four games this week in the Midwest this week. The team plays two games at Michigan on Tuesday and Wednesday, before playing a three-game series at Northwestern Friday through Sunday.
Last Weekend: The team went 2-1 at Fresno State, falling 3-1 Friday night before winning 2-1 and 7-5 to take the series.
Spartan Fact: San José State currently sits atop the Mountain West standings with a 8-4 mark in league play. The Spartans are one of just three teams above .500 in conference play.

Softball (22-10, 2-1)
This Week: The Spartan softball team returns home for the start of six-straight games at the Spartan Softball Complex. This week, the team hosts defending MW champion Boise State for a three-game series this weekend.
Last Weekend: The team went 2-1 at Fresno State, winning 3-2 and 4-2 before falling 4-3 in the series finale.
Spartan Fact: The Spartans had a 12-game winning streak last weekend before losing in the series finale at Fresno State.

Women's Golf
This Week: The Spartans are currently playing at the Lamkin Invitational at The Farms in Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.
Last Week: San José State finished third at the Juli Inkster at Meadow Club Invitational. The Spartans made 38 birdies during the tournament and had three players in the top-15.
Spartan Fact: Following her fourth-place finish at the Juli Inkster at Meadow Club Invitational, Abegail Arevalo was been named the Mountain West Women's Golfer of the Week. Arevalo finished the tournament at one-under 215 over the three rounds in recording her sixth top-10 finish of the season. She recorded back-to-back rounds of under-par golf in the second and third rounds with a two-under 70 and one-under 71, respectively. She has recorded 11 rounds under par for the season. Arevalo tied for first in the field with 42 pars made and helped the Spartans to a third-place finish at the tournament.

Women's Gymnastics
This Week: Spartan Taylor Chan was selected as an all-arounder to participate in the second round of the NCAA Corvallis Regional on Saturday, April 6. She will compete in the second session at 7 p.m.
Last Week: The Spartans scored a season-high 195.450 to finish second at the MPSF Championships hosted by Seattle Pacific. That team score ranks 11th all-time in school history and is the first time a Spartan team has achieved that score. It is also the third consecutive season that the Spartans have saved their best team score for the final meet of the year.
Spartan Fact: Taylor Chan won the MPSF All-Around title with a career-best 39.200. It is the second consecutive year a Spartan gymnast won the all-around title and the fourth time in school history a Spartan captured the title.

This Week: The Spartans play twice this week - at California on Friday and against Portland on Sunday
Last Week: The Spartans swept Pacific, 5-0, last Saturday as each pair went 2-0 for their match.
Spartan Fact: The Spartans begin the week on a four-dual winning streak, two off the school record of six straight wins set with the last two wins of 2016 and the first four wins of 2017.

Men's Golf
This Week: The Spartans are competing at the Duck Invitational in Eugene, Ore., to start the week. The team finishes the week at The Goodwin at Stanford Golf Course, Thursday through Saturday.
Current Results: The team was tied for fifth after the first round of the Duck Invitational.
Spartan Fact: SJSU is ranked #56 in the GolfStat rankings. Kevin Velo is ranked #111, while Sean Yu is #207.

Spartan Fact: Miyo Kobayashi tied with Gaelle Rey for #2 on the all-time wins list with 139 combined singles and doubles victories. She can become #1 with a sweep this week. Marie Klocker holds the record with 142 wins.

Spartan Fact: Olga Descalzi Portell leads the Spartans with 41 goals and is the first 40-goal scorer for the Spartans since 2016 when Rae Lekness scored 98 and Carla Toha Vilanova scored 53.
