Incoming San José State freshman gymnast Emma Milne will have a short stay on campus this August before she leaves to represent Canada at an international competition.
Emma will be part of the team representing Canada at the FIG World Challenge Cup to be competed from August 30 through September 1, in Mersin, Turkey.
Emma finished 15th in the all-around at the 2019 Canadian Championships held May 21-26 in Ottawa, Canada. Earlier this year, she competed at the Canada Winter games where her team finished second, and she was seventh on floor. In March, Emma competed at International Gymnix on floor where she placed fifth.
Emma is from Barrie, Ontario. She trains at and competes for Shenderey Gymnastics Institute.
