Moraga, Calif.----- San Jose State University freshman Rozalina Youseva won two matches to advance to the championship semifinal in her singles bracket at the Saint Mary's Invitational women's tennis tournament.
Both of her victories went to a third set. Her first win of the day stretched out to a 2-6, 6-3, 7-6 with a 7-6 tiebreaker over University of California's Jessica Zeynel.
In all, the Spartans won seven singles and three doubles matches on the second day of the three-day tournament.
Competition concludes Sunday, October 6, starting at 9:00 a.m.
