SAN JOSE, Calif. – San José State women's soccer has signed seven players – Bianca Aikens, Cecelia Crosby, Cynthia Flores, Bella Keomounpane, Jordan Rowell, Jaedyn Sanders and Sarah Santos - as part of their 2020 signing class, head coach Lauren Hanson announced on Friday.
Aikens was a three-year letterwinner at Olympian High in Chula Vista, California. The defender played in 60 career matches and notched 11 career points. Aikens also played her club ball for the Rebels ECNL.
Hanson Scouting Report:
"Bianca is a dynamic attacking player with a ton of pace and athleticism. We look forward to watching her make an impact getting in behind lines of defense and setting up her teammates in the attack. Her personality is vibrant and that shows through her passion and play in competition."
Crosby joins the Spartans from Burien, Washington where she earned four varsity letters at John F. Kennedy Catholic High. The forward made 49 career appearances and tallied 49 points (17 goals, 15 assists). In 2017, the Seattle native was the league MVP as a sophomore after scoring 10 goals and tallying eight assists. She was named second team all-league the following season as a junior.

A three-time all-league player, midfielder Cynthia Flores comes to the bay by way of Bakersfield where she led Liberty High to three-straight league titles from 2016-19. In four seasons, she also picked up three-straight all-area honors, and was team captain as a senior. She was teammates with current SJSU defender Bryanna Bartlett at Liberty High.

"Cynthia is incredibly special on the dribble. Her quickness and agility on the ball are what make her a top attacking player for her club. She will be a huge asset to our attack in the future and we are thrilled for her to join our program and see how much of an impact she can make here at SJSU."
Keomounpane played two seasons of varsity soccer at Clovis East High in Clovis, California, where she tallied seven goals and four assists in 17 games. The midfielder played her club ball for the California Odyssey Red and helped lead the squad to the 2018 NPL East title.

"Bella is an incredibly technical and tactically savvy midfielder. She specializes in her ability to thread passes and break down defenders by driving at them. We are excited to see what she does at the next level here at San Jose State."
Rowell, a midfielder from San Diego, played for Torrey Pines High where she as a first team All-Avocado League selection in 2018-19. As a freshman she put up 23 goals and followed with eight goals and fifteen assists as a sophomore and 18 assists to go with four goals as a junior. She also played club ball with the DMCV Sharks and was a 2018 ECNL All-West Regional Team selection.

"Having a player of Jordan's size and athletic ability in the air is special for us. Jordan has a huge presence on the field and super composed on the ball. Her competitive drive makes her a special asset to continuing our goal of building a top-25 program in the future."
Sanders played three years of varsity soccer at James E. Enochs High in Modesto. A two-time first team all-league player, she kicked off her career by scoring 16 goals and was the team's offensive player of the year as a freshman. She followed that up by scoring a whopping 36 goals and tallied 13 assists as a sophomore. Sanders also played for the San Jose Earthquakes U18/19.

Santos, who played multiple positions at Poly High in Long Beach, California, was a three-time all-league selection. She played four seasons of varsity soccer and was named the team rookie of the year in 2016-17. Santos was named a first team All-Moore League pick in 2017-18. Last season as a senior she scored five goals in 13 games. Santos also played club ball for the LAFC Slammers where she helped lead the squad to the 2019 ECNL National Championships where they finished runner-up.

"Sarah is a technical saavy player that is super versatile and can play multiple positions. She is also a hard-nosed defender from a top club in southern California that we expect to do big things in her career."
