Ysabel Tran shot a two-over 74 and is tied for 18th after the first round. She made three birdies and 10 pars during her round, finishing her day with a birdie on her final hole, the par-five first hole. Tran was even par on holes 10-18, making a birdie, a bogey and seven pars.
Maddie White and Antonia Malate each shot a three-over 75 and are tied for 22nd. White, who started her round on the fifth hole with a birdie, shot one-under on holes 1-9 with three birdies. Malate, starting her day on #3, was even par on holes 10-18, making her only birdie of the day on #13.
Kajsa Arwefjäll shot a four-over 76 and is tied for 31st, making one birdie and 13 pars on Friday.
Natasha Andrea Oon rounded out the scoring by shooting a five-over 77. She made three birdies and eight pars during the round.
Jadan Gonzalez, playing as an individual, is tied for 85th with an 88, +16.
San José State shot a 300 on Friday, making 10 birdies during the round. The team is just seven shots behind leader LSU who shot a five-over 293. The top-11 teams are separated by just 10 shots.
