San Jose, Calif.—Jordyn Parr, from Temecula, Calif., has signed a National Letter-of-Intent to compete for the San José State University women's golf team beginning with the 2020-21 season, as announced by Spartan head coach Dana Dorman.
Parr plays for Temecula Valley High School where she was a four-time All-Southwestern League honoree. She was the SWL Most Valuable Golfer for the 2017-18 season. In late October at the SWL Championship, Parr finished second by one shot after shooting a 142, including a 66. She tied for 34th at the 2018 CIF/SCGA SoCal Girls High School Championship.
"Jordyn is a hard worker and brings a lot of positive energy to the program," said Dormann. "She joins Lousia Carlbom and Danielle Suh in the Spartan program next year, and we look forward to all three young women joining the team."
