San Jose, Calif.—Taylor Chan recorded her 16th 9.900 on floor to win the event as the San José State women's gymnastics team scored a 192.575 Friday night in a home meet with UC Davis at the Provident Credit Union Event Center.
Chan had the team's top score on two other events with a 9.775 on vault and a 9.725 on bars. She finished with a 38.625 in the all-around.
The Spartans started the meet with a 48.425 on vault, led by Chan's 9.775. Moving to bars, the team had to count a fall in the 47.500 score. Chan again led the team with a 9.725.
Emma Milne led the team on beam with a 9.800 as the team again had to count a fall in the 47.975 score.
The floor team recorded the best score of the night with the 48.675, led by Chan's 9.900. Cameron Kelperis had a 9.775, followed by Jada Mazury at 9.700, Chelsey Andrada at 9.675, Antonia Marquez at 9.625 and Tia Gin at 9.575.
San José State competes at UC Davis next Friday, February 7, at 7 p.m.
