Davis, Calif.—The San Jose State beach volleyball team got wins at #2 and #5 Saturday but fell 3-2 at UC Davis.
Latahevai Lousi and Summer Vercruyssen got the first point of the dual as the Spartan pair won in three sets, 14-21, 21-17, 16-14, in the fifth position. Thaliana Grajeda and Tabea Schwarz won the final point of the dual in three sets, 23-25, 21-9, 15-8.
The Spartans are now 8-2 on the season and hosts duals against Stephen F. Austin and an exhibition versus West Valley on Monday, March 9.
