This week's Spartan Spotlight features former longtime baseball head coach Sam Piraro. His San Jose State University coaching career started out with 74 wins as the junior varsity head coach in the 1970's followed by 806 victories as head coach from 1987 through 2012. This June marks the 20th anniversary of the Spartans' first trip to the College World Series in Omaha, Neb.
