Continuing to share his message of "listen, learn and network" during the #BlackLivesMatter movement, San Jose State University assistant football coach Alonzo Carter will be featured on ABC-7 (KGO-TV, San Francisco) and NBC Bay Area (Channel 11, San Jose) on Tuesday, June 16.
The ABC-7 feature produced by community reporter Dustin Dorsey is scheduled to air during the station's 4:00 p.m. (PT) newscast at 4:54 p.m.
Coach Carter will be interviewed live on NBC Bay Area by news anchor Raj Mathai at 6:30 p.m. (PT).
The Oakland, Calif., native and San Jose State running back coach and recruiting coordinator, now in his fourth season with the Spartans, has gained national attention organizing ZOOM calls for high school, community college, college and professional football coaches locally, regionally, and nationally to share their views on the impact of COVID-19 and issues originating from systemic racism.
