Mountain West Announces 2020 Football Schedule

San Jose State University's 2020 eight-game regular-season football schedule includes four home and four away games against Mountain West opponents according to a conference office announcement.

The Spartans are scheduled to begin their season hosting Air Force on Saturday, October 24. Other home games are with UNLV on November 14, Hawai'i on December 5, and Nevada on December 12.
 
San Jose State is the visiting team when it plays New Mexico on October 31, San Diego State on November 7, Fresno State on November 21, and Boise State on November 28.

The top two teams with the best winning percentage in the 12-team conference will meet in the Mountain West championship game, Saturday, December 19. There will be no Mountain and West divisional delineations in the conference's 2020 standings.

The Mountain West regular season schedule is subject to approvals from state, county, and local officials.
 
In addition, the Mountain West's national television partners CBS Sports and FOX Sports will begin a selection process which will include selected games moved off of an assigned Saturday to either a Thursday or a Friday.

Game times will be announced at a later date.
