Boise, Idaho – A trio of Spartans scored in double figures on Saturday afternoon but it was Boise State who was able to earn a 70-53 victory at ExtraMile Arena.
Forward Tyra Whitehead and guard Raziya Potter led the way with 14 points a piece, while Whitehead added eight rebounds on the glass. Senior Cydni Lewis was just behind the pair, finishing the day with 10 points and six boards.
Lewis has now scored in double figures in consecutive contests, marking the first time she's done so in back-to-back conference games since her freshman season of 2017-18 (11 vs. Colorado State, 12 at Fresno State).
Boise State has now won 13 consecutive contests, which is the nation's sixth-longest active winning streak.
After falling behind out of the gates, San José State (presented by Provident Credit Union) outscored the Broncos 15-13 in the second stanza.

The quarter featured an 8-2 Spartan run as the visitors climbed back into the contest, a binge highlighted by a stretch of six straight Whitehead points.
After a back-and-forth third quarter, SJSU pulled to as close as seven with six minutes remaining when Whitehead netted a pair at the line to cut the deficit to 56-49.
That would be as close as the Spartans would get, however, as Boise State strung together stops down the stretch to run away with the win. San José State ended the afternoon shooting at a 29.7 percent clip from the field.
Making her second start in a Spartan uniform, senior Meghan Oberg notched seven rebounds and six points on Saturday. Oberg tallied more minutes - 32 - than any other Spartan.
SJSU ended the day with an edge in bench points (23-8) and fast break scoring (5-2). The team shot the ball at a 16 percent clip from three-point range.
Whitehead was the top Spartan shooter from the free-throw line, making four of her six attempts from the charity stripe.
San José State will look to bounce back when it returns to the floor on Friday night. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. (MT) inside the Ability 360 Sport & Fitness Center.
