SAN JOSE, Calif. - Junior guard Omari Moore dominated on both ends of the court to power San Jose State men's basketball to a hard-earned 60-56 victory over Cal State East Bay in the Spartans' exhibition on Friday evening. Moore tallied a double-double of 23 points and 13 rebounds to dazzle the crowd of 1,346 inside the Provident Credit Union Event Center.
- Moore was 8-of-13 from the field in 36 minutes of work. 12 of his 13 boards came on the defensive end.
- Freshman Alvaro Cardenas Torre impressed in his Spartan debut, knocking down a pair of triples to finish with 11 points.
- The Spartans finished with a 48-39 advantage on the boards. Ibrahima Diallo and Shon Robinson each finished with eight rebounds.
- Trey Smith (8 points), Diallo (6 points) and Caleb Simmons (5 points) pitched in in the winning effort.
- The Spartans finished with four blocks with Diallo contributing for a two of them.
