Fullerton, Calif.—Raquel Villan Pereira won her singles and doubles matches on Sunday to lead the San José State women's tennis team on the final day of the Fullerton Spring Invite.
- Villan Pereira won in straight sets in singles, 6-2, 6-1. She paired with Oleksandra Andrieieva for 6-0 win in doubles.
- Alba Pedrero Galindo needed just two sets, including a tiebreaker in the first set, for her third singles win three tries this weekend.
The Spartans begin the dual portion of the spring schedule this Saturday, January 29, with a non-conference contest against Sacramento State beginning at noon inside the Spartan Tennis Complex.
