SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San José State women's basketball team (4-18, 1-10 Mountain West) returns home to host Colorado State (14-7, 5-6 Mountain West) inside the Provident Credit Union Event Center on Saturday afternoon in a Spartan double header event. The women play at 2:00 p.m. and the San José State men's basketball team will follow at 6:00 p.m. Tickets for both games are available here.
Fans are encouraged to wear pink in support of breast cancer awareness.

- Cydni Lewis is leading the Spartans in scoring and rebounding, averaging 11.7 points per game and seven rebounds per game
- The Spartans are coming off a loss at Wyoming
- Meghan Oberg scored a team high 17 points, was 7-16 from the field and 3-7 from 3-point and tied a team high seven rebounds
- The Spartans shot 69.2 percent FG and 88.3 percent (5-6) from 3-point in the opening frame
- McKenna Hofschild is leading Coloardo State in scoring with an average of 15.9 ppg and assists with 6.5 apg
- Upe Atosu scored a game-high 24 points in the Ram's fourth quarter comeback win over Utah State on Wednesday
- Atosu is averaging 14.7 ppg
NEXT HOME GAME: The Spartans host a make-up game with Wyoming on Monday, February 14 inside the Provident Credit Union Event Center and tickets are available for purchase here. The contest was originally scheduled for January 6 and was canceled due to COVID-19 related concerns within the Cowgirls' program.
New Covid Entry Policy:
- All personnel with a SJSU Tower ID (students, staff and faculty) will only have to show Tower ID and ticket for entry
- Tower ID holders are within the SJSU Covid protocols
- Those without a Tower ID will be required to show proof of vaccination with their card, a photo on their phone or QR code
- Fans that are not vaccinated will be required to show proof of a negative COVID test (Age 3 and up)
- For Antigen tests, negative result of COVID test must be within 24 hours
- For PCR tests, negative result of COVID test must be within 48 hours
- The antigen test can include a take-home test, sold at Walgreens, CVS and other pharmacies
Mask Policy:
- Fans are required to wear masks indoors at all times unless actively eating or drinking
