SAN DIEGO, Calif. – A'Tyanna Gaulden and Ella Ogier led San José State (4-21, 1-13 Mountain West) in a 77-69 loss to San Diego State (12-13, 6-8 Mountain West) that went down to the wire inside Viejas Arena on Wednesday night. Gaulden and Ogier each scored a game-high 22 points.
- Gaulden was 8-15 from the field and 2-3 from 3-point for a season-high 22 points and eight field goals made
- Ella Ogier scored 10 points in the third quarter and finished with a career-high 22 points (8-11 from the field, 3-5 from 3-point)
- Meghan Oberg had her first double figure rebounding performance with a career-high 11 rebounds to lead the Spartans at the glass
- There were 10 lead changes with SJSU's largest lead of nine coming in the last few minutes of the third period
- San José State shot 43 percent and held SDSU to 39 percent shooting
- SJSU won the third frame 22-16
- San Diego State went on a 11-0 run starting at the midway mark of the final frame to reclaim the lead and edge out the Spartans.

The Spartans close out the four-game stretch at UNLV in Las Vegas, Nev. on Saturday, February 19 at 1:00 p.m. before returning home to host Air Force on Wednesday, February 23 at 11:00 a.m. for SJSU Day at the Event Center.
New COVID Entry Policy:

- Tower ID holders are within the SJSU Covid protocols
- Those without a Tower ID will be required to show proof of vaccination with their card, a photo on their phone or QR code
- Fans that are not vaccinated will be required to show proof of a negative COVID test (Age 3 and up)
- For Antigen tests, negative result of COVID test must be within 24 hours
- For PCR tests, negative result of COVID test must be within 48 hours
- The antigen test can include a take-home test, sold at Walgreens, CVS and other pharmacies
Mask Policy:
- Fans are required to wear masks indoors at all times unless actively eating or drinking
