COLLEGE STATION, Texas—On a day that many entered the Spartan record book, senior Chloe Limargo climbed to the top of the 100 breaststroke list with a school-record swim in the finals during the third day of the Mountain West Championships at the Rec Center Natatorium.

- Limargo finished sixth in the 100 breast in a school record time of 1:00.91, breaking the 12-year old record of 1:01.07, set by Kirsten Trammell at the Arena Invitational in 2011. In prelims, Limargo swam a 1:01.57 to move into second-place on the list before earning the top spot in the finals. Her time is also an NCAA B-cut.

- In all, four Spartans put themselves in the 100 breaststroke record book Friday night. Cali Rowland swam a 1:02.83 in the "B" finals and is now fifth all-time. Emma Myburgh swam a 1:03.40, good for seventh, and Izzie Fraire is now 10th at 1:03.74.
- Reagan Mathieson finished seventh in the 200 free at 1:49.45. In the prelims, she swam the fourth-fastest time in school history at 1:48.83.
- Also in the 200 free, Réka Kovács finished 13th at 1:50.82, while Zsófia Muzsnay was 17th at 1:49.35 as she swam in the "C" Final.oo
- Ela Freiman swam the seventh-fastest time in school history in the 400 individual medley at 4:26.87 as she finished 19th Friday night.
- In the 100 backstroke, Kayla Craft-Williams finished 15th at 56.67, while Ellie Shorten was 20th at 57.03.
The final day of the championships begins Saturday with prelims at 9 a.m. PT. Races include the 200 backstroke, 100 free, 200 breaststroke and 200 butterfly. Finals on Saturday begin at 4:30 p.m. PT with the 1650 free and end with the 400 freestyle relay. All races can be seen on the Mountain West Network, www.themw.com/watch.
