RENO, Nev. – Sidney Richards led San José State (4-17, 1-9 Mountain West) in an 88-63 loss to the University of Nevada, Reno (14-7, 6-3 Mountain West) inside the Lawlor Events Center on Wednesday night. Richards finished the night with a career high 16 points.

- Richards went 6-8 from the field and 2-2 from 3-point
- Cydni Lewis had 14 points and two rebounds
- Ella Ogier scored 10 points in her eighth straight game in double figures
- Meghan Oberg added four points and a team high four rebounds
- Nevada shot 62.7 percent and was 15-20 (75 percent) in the third quarter

The Spartans are on the road again in seven days for their first meeting of the season with Wyoming. Tip off in Laramie is 5:30 p.m. and will be available to watch live on the Mountain West Network.
New COVID Entry Policy:
- All personnel with a SJSU Tower ID (students, staff and faculty) will only have to show Tower ID and ticket for entry
- Tower ID holders are within the SJSU Covid protocols
- Those without a Tower ID will be required to show proof of vaccination with their card, a photo on their phone or QR code
- Fans that are not vaccinated will be required to show proof of a negative COVID test (Age 3 and up)
- For Antigen tests, negative result of COVID test must be within 24 hours
- For PCR tests, negative result of COVID test must be within 48 hours
- The antigen test can include a take-home test, sold at Walgreens, CVS and other pharmacies
Mask Policy:
- Fans are required to wear masks indoors at all times unless actively eating or drinking
