Spartans Look to Close Out Road Portion Strong at Air Force

USAFA, Colo. - The San José State men's basketball team (8-20, 1-15 Mountain West) is at Air Force (10-17, 3-13 Mountain West) on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. (PT) to finish the road regular season portion of their schedule and the game can be seen on the Mountain West Network and heard on the Varsity Network Mobile App.

  • The Spartans had a 71-55 win over New Mexico on 2/20. New Mexico defeated No. 22 Wyoming five days earlier
  • Sophomore Omari Moore had his first career triple-double (18 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists) in the win against New Mexico (2/20). It was the first triple-double for the Spartans since 2013 and the third in program history. Against San Diego State (2/25) Moore hit his fifth 20 point game of the season. He came into the season with zero 20 point games
  • Sophomore Ibrahima Diallo played 18 minutes in his first game back after missing the previous 18 games due to injury. He had 14 points and five rebounds (2/20)
  • The win against New Mexico (2/20) was the first at the Provident Credit Union Event Center in over two years, it also was the seventh home win for the Spartans which is the most since the 2016-17 season
  • The eight wins for the Spartans are the most since the 2016-17 season and the win broke an 18-game Mountain West losing streak.
  • The Spartans had 14 3-pointers against Nevada (2/15). This season the Spartans had 17 3-pointers at Portland (12/17) and 20 against Bethesda (1/8)
  • The Spartans lead the Mountain West and rank 37th in the nation averaging 9.0 3-point makes a game

New Covid Entry Policy

  • All personnel with a SJSU Tower ID (students, staff and faculty) will only have to show Tower ID and ticket for entry
    • Tower ID holders are within the SJSU Covid protocols
    • Faculty/Staff enter through the lower entrance, while Students enter through the South Doors across from the SRAC
  • Those without a Tower ID will be required to show proof of vaccination with their card, a photo on their phone or QR code
  • Fans that are not vaccinated will be required to show proof of a negative COVID test (Age 3 and up)
    • For Antigen tests, negative result of COVID test must be within 24 hours
    • For PCR tests, negative result of COVID test must be within 48 hours
  • The antigen test can include a take-home test, sold at Walgreens, CVS and other pharmacies

Mask Policy

  • Fans are required to wear masks indoors at all times unless actively eating or drinking
