STOCKTON, Calif. - Riley Agerbeek, Cila David and Olga Descalzi each tallied two goals to lead No. 12 San José State (10-11) in a tough 8-7 defeat at No. 17 Pacific (4-9) on Sunday at Chris Kjeldsen Pool. The Spartans went 3-for-6 on the power play as the match went back-and-forth all day long.
- David added two steals to go with her two goals
- Descalzi also posted two steals for the Spartans
- Hannah Henry made 13 saves for a .619 save percentage in the cage
- The game was tied 6-6 heading into the final period
- Agerbeek's second goal came on the power play and opened up the fourth quarter by giving the Spartans their final lead of the game with 6:06 left
- The Spartans held Pacific to 1-of-4 on the power play
- Lior Ben David handed out three assists for SJSU
- Renee Fleming added the other goal
- The Tigers outshot the Spartans, 32-25
