MORAGA, Calif. - Jocylyn Vidal went 1-for-2 with a double in San José State's (16-14, 2-4 Mountain West) 2-0 loss to Saint Mary's College (11-15, 0-0 West Coast Conference) in a Wednesday afternoon single-game meeting at Cottrell Field. The Spartans had a bases loaded opportunity with two outs in the fifth inning, but couldn't capitalize.

- Caroline Bowman (2-6) threw 6.0 innings in the circle with seven strikeouts, allowing three hits and two runs
- Vidal, Jenessa Ullegue and Karizma Bergesen each recorded a hit in the loss
