COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Omari Moore has been named All-Mountain West Honorable Mention, announced by the league office on Tuesday. Moore, a sophomore from Pasadena, Calif., leads the Spartans in points and assists, plus had the game-winning dunk against Northern Colorado (story) earlier this season which was the No. 3 play on SportsCenter.
- Moore is averaging 13 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.5 assists
- The Sophomore is sixth in Mountain West in assists and is shooting 48 percent from the field
- He had his first career triple-double (18 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists) in the win against New Mexico (2/20). It was the first triple-double for the Spartans since 2013 and the third in program history
- Against San Diego State (2/25), Moore hit his fifth 20 point game of the season. He came into the season with zero 20 point games
- This is his first career Mountain West award
- Richard Washington was named All-Mountain West Honorable Mention last season
