RENO, Nev.-- Karizma Bergesen set a new single-game program record with three home runs to lead San José State (19-18, 5-7 Mountain West) to a 13-5 win over Nevada (12-28, 2-10 Mountain West) at Christina M. Hixson Softball Park in Reno on Sunday afternoon. Bergesen went 3-for-5 with three home runs and five RBIs in the series finale. The Spartans took the series, 2-1, over the Wolf Pack.

The Spartans, who were down 2-1 heading into the 5th inning, scored six runs to take a 7-2 lead. San Jose State's hot hitting continued throughout the rest of the game, recording 11 of their 13 hits from the 5th inning on.

- Alyssa Graham lead off with a homerun to start the game
- Jocylyn Vidal went 3-for-4 with four RBIs
- Jenessa Ullegue struck out three batters in 4.0 IP to improve to 14-4
- Caroline Bowman relieved Ullegue in the circle for the fifth inning and recorded three strikeouts in 3.0 IP
- Seven different Spartans recorded a hit in the victory
- The Spartans recorded 10+ hits in each of the three games at Nevada
