SAN JOSÉ, Calif. - Jillian Figueroa and Jocylyn Vidal recorded San José State's (19-19, 5-8 Mountain West) only two hits in a 5-0 loss to UNLV (29-9, 7-3 Mountain West) at Spartan Softball Complex on Thursday night. The Spartans couldn't make adjustments at the plate against solid Rebel's pitching.

- UNLV's pitcher, Jenny Bressler (16-6), struck out 10 Spartans
- Caroline Bowman (2-8) started the game in the circle and threw 5.1 innings before Jenessa Ullegue closed out the final 1.2 IP
- Figueroa singled in the second and Vidal singled in the seventh
- The Spartans left three runners on base
