SAN JOSE, Calif. – Jenessa Ullegue struck out seven in a complete game effort to lead San José State (20-19, 6-8 Mountain West) in a 3-2 win against UNLV (29-10, 7-4 Mountain West) Friday afternoon at the Spartan Softball Complex.
The Spartans were down 2-0 early, but chipped away and took the lead in the fourth that they wouldn't relinquish thanks to hits from Karizma Bergesen and Trenity Edwards.
- Bergesen had an RBI triple, which is her first of the season
- Edwards with an RBI single
- Alyssa Graham scored off a wild pitch
- Ullegue has five complete games this season and 15 wins
- Jocylyn Vidal had a pair of hits

The Spartans and UNLV face off again tomorrow afternoon at 12 p.m. at the Spartan Softball Complex. The game will be streamed on the Mountain West Network.
