SAN JOSÉ, Calif. - With two outs and bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh, Alyssa Graham singled to drive in two runs and kep the Spartans' hopes alive, but it was not enough as San José State softball (20-26, 6-15 Mountain West) loses the final game of a three game series with San Diego State (32-12, 16-2), 8-3, at Spartan Softball Complex on Sunday afternoon. Graham went 2-for-4 with 2 RBIs in the loss.

- Jocylyn Vidal, Malia Luna and Ashlynn Griffith each hit a single up the middle to load the bases for Graham in the seventh
- Jenessa Ullegue went 2-for-3 with a triple and one RBI
- Caroline Bowman started the game in the circle and threw 4.0 IP before Ullegue came in for relief and threw the latter 3.0 innings
- The Spartans defense resulted in seven Aztec runners left on base
- San José State had its highest hit total of the series with seven hits

The Spartans will play a midweek contest at Santa Clara on Wednesday, May the fourth at 4:00 p.m. before a final conference series at Utah State May 12-14.
