SAN JOSÉ, Calif. - Malia Luna hit a 2RBI double in the second inning two score the Spartans only two runs in San José State Softball's (20-25, 6-14 Mountain West) 10-2 loss to San Diego State (32-12, 15-2 Mountain West) in 5 innings on Saturday afternoon in the second of a three-game series at Spartan Softball Complex. Luna's double drove in Jessica Giacoma and Jocylyn Vidal.

- Vidal, Giacoma and Alyssa Graham each went 1-for-2, with Vidal raking a double in to kick off the Spartans' scoring in the second
- San Diego State scored in all five innings
- Lacie Ham (3-8) pitched 4.0 innings and Ashley Goard came in for relief in the fifth

The final game of the series is tomorrow at noon at Spartan Softball Complex and will be streamed on the Mountain West Network. The Spartans will honor seniors Caroline Bowman and Lily Meek prior to the contest.
