LOGAN, Utah—Three Spartans recorded hits Thursday afternoon, but the San José State softball team did not get in the scoring column as the Spartans fell at Utah State 8-0 in a Mountain West game

  • Jillian Figueroa had the team's second hit of the game in the third inning, while Karizma Bergesen singled in the fifth inning.
  • Jenessa Ullegue started in the circle for the Spartans as her record fell to 15-9 on the season.
  • Caroline Bowman pitched 2.1 innings in relief, allowing just one earned run.
