- Alyssa Graham led off the game with a double to right field and advanced to third but could not score in the top of the first inning.
- Jillian Figueroa had the team's second hit of the game in the third inning, while Karizma Bergesen singled in the fifth inning.
- Jenessa Ullegue started in the circle for the Spartans as her record fell to 15-9 on the season.
- Caroline Bowman pitched 2.1 innings in relief, allowing just one earned run.
