SJSU Performs Strongly in Day Two of Aggie Roundup

DAVIS, CALIF. - Mark Kis scored a team-best five goals and Bende Pardi added four goals to lead No. 10 San José State (2-4) over No. 16 Cal Baptist (6-6), 20-9, on Saturday at the Aggies Roundup inside Schaal Aquatics Center. In the second match of the day, the 10th-ranked Spartans dropped a 16-9 decision to No. 5 Pacific (8-1).

  • Neils Hofmeijer scored another three goals against Cal Baptist, and one against Pacific.
  • Bence Szabo scored another two, while Laszlo Szieben, Tomasso Ramaccioti, Nikkie Mathiesen, Gal Haimovich, Mael Suchet and Javi Ibanez also scored one goal against Cal Baptist.
  • Connor Macmillan (3) and Hofmeijer (2) added five combined assists in the first match. 
  • Pardi scored another three goals against Pacific. 

NEXT UP: SJSU will play two final games on Sunday against Navy at 9:15 a.m. and Occidental College at 2:15 p.m. on the final day of the Aggies Roundup.
