BREMERTON, Wash. - Caleb Shetler shot a 144 (E) to lead San José State in the first day of the Husky Invitational at the Gold Mountain Golf Club in Bremerton, Wash. on Monday.
- The first day consisted of 36 holes while the the second day will only be 18
- The team competition was on the Olympic Course and the individual on the Cascade Course
- Shetler finished the day tied for ninth in the team competition
- Kotaro Murata shot a 147 (+3) while Zubair Firdaus finished with a 150 (+6)
- On the individual side, Alaric Mercie De Soultrait led the Spartans with a 140 (-2) which was good for sixth
- Parker Heath shot a 146 (+4) and Luigi Wong a 147 (+5) in the individual competition
