SAN JOSE, Calif. - San José State cross country will race at Baylands Park in Sunnyvale, Calif. this Saturday morning in the Bronco Invitational.

  • The Spartans will be familiar with the course as they practice at Baylands Park multiple times per week.
  • The course is mostly flat which will be advantageous for a Spartans squad that is filled with several good sprinters.
  • This is the final meet of the season before the Mountain West Conference Championships on October 28th in Laramie, Wyo.
  • Constance O'Neal, Nereyda Alvarez Gonzalez, Michael Chadwick, and Christian Moreno will all be looking to build off their career-best performances last week at the SF State Invitational in San Francisco, Calif.
  • In San Francisco, Juliette Noyer ran a 22:50.3 in the women's 6k while Omar Pina ran a 26:23.7 in the men's 8k to lead the Spartans.
