SAN JOSE, Calif.—Amethyst Harper hit .682 Saturday as the San José State volleyball team swept Air Force, 3-0, inside Spartan Gym to remain atop the Mountain West standings with a perfect 8-0 record.

- Harper led all hitters with 16 kills and had only one error in 22 attempts. She added five digs, three assists and a block in the win.
- The Spartans hit a season-best .413 in the match with 50 kills on 92 attempts and only 12 errors. It is also the third-best percentage by a team in the Mountain West this season.
- Sarah Smevog anchored the defense once again with 10 digs and added four assists and an ace. She was perfect in serve-receive in 20 attempts.
- Blaire Fleming added eight kills, followed by Jiana Lawson and Haylee Nelson each with seven.
- Carly Aigner-Swesey recorded 20 assists and four digs, while Mia Schafer added 15 assists and five digs. Schafer needs just four digs to reach the 2,000 plateau.
- The Spartans led from first serve in the first two sets, jumping out to a 7-0 lead in the second set, and took the lead for good in set three at 4-3 on a Harper kill.
- SJSU recorded just 3.5 blocks for the match, but the final block came on match point as Alyssa Sugai, Madeline Boerstra and Brooke Bryant combined for the match winner.
